- Paste GIF and Paste GIF Square now resolve the file and call paste directly, without copying first or closing the window before paste.

Fix pasting and caching of GIFs - September 17, 2026
- Fixed "Paste GIF" failing with a file-not-found error for every GIF, once any favorite had been copied
- Fixed Copy, Paste and Download serving a previously cached GIF instead of the one selected, when "Hide Filename" is turned on
- Fixed removing a GIF from Favorites leaving its cached file behind
- Fixed a download overwriting an existing file of the same name, and saving the server's response as a GIF when the request failed
- Fixed a download that fails partway leaving the toast spinning instead of reporting the error

- GIPHY Clips now keep their
